The author, Francis Charles Nañawa is the eldest son of the late Fernando Cadeliña Nañawa, considered by many as the one who started and popularized the modern Pahiyas Festival starting in 1963.

With a flair like his father towards the arts, tourism and cultural and heritage conservation, he put up the website pahiyasfestival.com to promote the Pahiyas to the whole world.  Though the said website contained many negative information in the past, which are not fitted to be published there, he decided to put up this blog.

A neophyte in blogging, this blog will be his personal journal of thoughts, experiences, happenings and advocacies towards the Lucban San Isidro Pahiyas Festival and other tourism and cultural related concerns particularly those pertaining to Lucban.

The blogger is active in many church and community activities.   He founded the Quezon Information and Communication Technology Foundation (QuICT Foundation) and is currently its president.
