Gat Marcos Tigla
The first Lucbanin gobernadorcillo (town mayor) of Lucban (1595). He was also known as the founder of Lucban together with his two other companions from Majayjay, Laguna, Messrs. Luis Gumba and Lucas Mañawa.

Rev. Fr. Manuel Zurbano
The first Lucbanin Catholic priest to have defected into Aglipayan Church. It happened in 1904 when the Aglipayan church, known as Iglesia Filipina Independiente was established in Lucban. He was also the first Aglipayan priest assigned in Lucban. He was the brother of former municipal president Col. Emilio Zurbano.
