The Lucban San Isidro Pahiyas Festival is ALWAYS celebrated on May 15 every year.

There are several activities during the days leading to the festival day itself.  There is the Tiyangge sa Lucban, cultural shows and contests day and night.  The farmers, float and carabao parade happens on May 14 and the Grand Parade with all participants is in the afternoon of May 15.  Please go to the Calendar of Events link to view the current schedule of programs and activities.

No.  Pahiyas Festival is a religious and community event that is open to the public.

No.  Houses with Pahiyas decorations are seen only on May 15.  Days prior to that, houses are just being prepared and decorated until evening of May 14 or sometimes even until dawn.

"Kiping" is made of ground rice and mixed with food coloring to produce different colors.  Because it is made of rice, it can be cooked - fried or grilled and dipped in syrup, sugar or honey.

It depends on the schedule of activities for that particular year but more often than not, the only activity left on May 16 are the awarding ceremonies for the Pahiyas contest and various competitions.  The Tiyangge sa Lucban however remains open for 2-3 more days after the Pahiyas Festival.

Prior to sending or depositing your payment, please check back again the seat layout for update.  If your seat has been marked unavailable, please choose a new seat and Contact Us immediately so we can take note of it.  Once we confirmed your payment, that seat will be marked unavailable and reserved to you.

The available parking area is at the premises of the Filipinas Heritage Library. It is safe and secured as the area is manned 24 hours by a security guard. There is a flat rate parking fee of Php 150.00.
